As part of CAMP’s international exchange & residency with Yogyakarta Indonesia, Bangkit/Arise, the project worked with SOMCAN (South of Market Community Action Network) to learn about South Market (SoMa) and SoMa Pilipinas, Filipino Cultural Heritage District. Subsequently the artists from Indonesia – Nano Warsono, Bambang Toko, Ucup, Wedhar Riyadi, Vina Puspita, and Harind Arvati – painted a mural using flowers that represent the various communities that live in the SoMa neighbourhood.
